THE GRADUATE PROGRAM

 

The Graduate Program in Public Health at the Federal University of Rio Grande, Master’s Degree, aims to qualify human resources by training professionals in Public Health to the following purposes:

 

1) Identifying problems that affect the health and well-being of populations;

2) Carrying out original and innovative research projects that allow the advance of scientific knowledge;

3) Defining, establishing and managing public programs and policies that promote scientific development in the field of public health, and that contribute to a better quality of life for the populations.

GPASP - FURG ORGANIZA EVENTO CIENTÍFICO: ATIVIDADE FÍSICA E SAÚDE PÚBLICA

O Grupo de Pesquisa em Atividade Física e Saúde Pública (GPASP – FURG) está organizando o evento científico Atividade física e Saúde pública: um olhar para intervenções em atividade física em diferentes ciclos da vida e tem como objetivo fomentar a discussão sobre intervenções em atividade física no Brasil e no mundo e seu impacto no âmbito da saúde pública.

O GPASP é vinculado aos PPG em Saúde Pública e Ciências da Saúde da FURG e realiza esse evento com apoio da Fundação de Amparo à pesquisa do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (FAPERGS), Sociedade Brasileira de Atividade Física e Saúde (SBAFS),e demais colegas da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UfPel), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) e Universidade Federal de Santa Maria(UFSM).
